WHAT IS PRICELESS? Priceless is something what is unique, invaluable and irreplaceable, in short, something that cannot be evaluated and/or estimated. Many objects or works of art have value based on what someone is willing to pay for them. Normally, value is based on supply and demand, or on the basis of comparison with some other similar object or work of art. If you cannot compare an object or work of art because it is so rare, unique (say, the only one that exists in the world), breathtakingly beautiful and simply unforgettable, that object or work of art is considered priceless. For example, many of the greatest works of art are considered invaluable and their values are so great that they cannot be calculated in money. People would pay millions of dollars to own these works. However, (in general) they are simply too valuable to be owned by a private individual because of which many of these works are owned by museums that they share with the world.
We call such works and the fact that they are not for sale invaluable and/or PRICELESS.
